My Journey

If you would have asked me as a child what I inspired to be someday, I could never have imagined my answer would have been, "An Architectural Photographer", yet here I am.

I spent my earlier years raising children and enjoying my role as a mother/wife before I went back to college and earned my degree as Occupational Therapist. WIthin the field, I specialized in the affects of dementia, educating and working with patients and families affected by the disease. Although I truly loved my position, the stress of travelling 800 miles a week working in the home health care field and being on call 24/7 for families in crisis, caused me to realize I was bogged down in a reality that was not healthy for my soul. It was my husband's comment to my exhuastion at the end of a day that caused me to pause and re-asses where my life was headed. The comment that changed my direction was simple but clear when he gently said, "You have lost your Joy in Life." It was hard to be joyful when I worried about the families I was entrusted with and he was right, Life was too heavy......

Around that same time of my life, both my husband and I had picked up Photography as a hobby and I was quickly realizing that, for the first time in my life, I had found my soul's true passion. There are many "events" that occurred over the next three years leading me to where I currently am as an architectural photographer, photographing interior/exterior architecture and helping client's develop their websites visual online presence. Too many in fact to share but after being published numerous times, featured in a gallery, working in the real estate industry and winning numerous awards with my photographs, It has been an incredible journey and YES, Great Joy!

I dedicate myself to continually becoming the best at what I do in my industry and am an avid natural light photographer. There is not a day that goes by that I don't have a camera in my hand collaborating with great minds to create images that inspire their audience.

I love being able to do what I do, Love meeting the people that are initially clients but quickly become friends and being able to share my soul's passion with the people that cross my path on this incredible journey of mine.

I look forward to continuing this journey I am on and look forward to meeting you. Please do not hesitate to call/email/text me with any questions you may have.

Thanks for visiting my site!

Cheers,
